Watch: Barge Slams Into Bridge Connecting Iowa to Illinois

There is dramatic new video that shows a barge slamming into the Keokuk/Hamilton Bridge during the early morning hours captured by a live streaming camera.

Original Story: This was the scene just past midnight in the early morning hours of August 26, 2025 as captured by a live-stream. A barge was getting harrowingly close to the bridge connecting Keokuk, Iowa and Hamilton, Illinois.

Watch the wild video for yourself which shows two workers on the barge come dangerously close to the impact point.

As the video share mentions, there are no official reports of damage to the bridge or injuries that I can find so far. As this is a developing story, it will be updated once new information is released.
