One Illinois iLottery player is super happy to play online because they just got a huge payday after winning $1 million dollars by playing Mega Millions.

The winning online player matched all five numbers in the Tuesday night drawing to score the $1 million prize. The winning numbers were 19-23-30-33-50. A player in Texas also won a $1 million prize in the July 30 Mega Millions drawing.

More than 24,000 winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in Illinois for the Tuesday, July 30 drawing. The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday night, August 2, at 10:00 p.m. (CT). The jackpot is at an estimated $358 million.

Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw in which to claim their prize but the Illinois Lottery's anonymity rules say we may never know who it is.

Illinois Lottery Winners Can Stay Annonymous... Kind Of

If your Illinois Lottery prize is $250,000 or greater, you may request to keep your name and municipality of residence confidential by indicating that choice on the Illinois Lottery Winner Claim Form. You must make this request at the time of claiming the prize.

If you do not, to assure the public that prizes are won and awarded, the Illinois Lottery will routinely publish winner information, including the winner’s name, home city, and the amount won. However, the Illinois Lottery does not publish winners’ addresses, telephone numbers, or other personal information. In addition, multimillion-dollar winners may be asked to participate in publicity events

Mega Millions tickets are $2 each, and players can add the Megaplier for an additional $1 for the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes.

Tickets for the game can be purchased in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app. For more information or to buy tickets online, please visit IllinoisLottery.com.
