The latest study from WalletHub reveals the happiest cities in America. The residents of these cities consider themselves the happiest because of their community, their economy, and their physical and emotional health.

Those three factors determined that Wisconsin's capital, Madison, is the 7th happiest city in America.

Another Wisconsin city made this list but a lot further down than Madison. While not at the bottom, Milwaukee landed at the 131st happiest city out of 182 major cities. Yes, Milwaukee has some work to do.

The happiest city in America is Fremont, California. Actually, the top 3 happiest cities are all in California.

Wisconsin isn't the only Midwest state with some happy cities.

Cedar Rapids is the 37th happiest city which is great news for them. Aurora, Ill. landed right behind CR at 49th and Chicago was in the top 100 at 93rd.
