A Recipe for Disaster
The candle was part of a "Perfect Pairings" collection that featured food-inspired duos. According to the product description, the candle featured notes of "gooey cheese," "ranch," and "crispy pepperonis." However, the combination of savory scents did not translate well to home fragrance. Online reviewers slammed the product, giving it a dismal 1.5-star rating.
Viral Reactions and Gagging
The backlash reached a boiling point on social media. One TikTok video went viral showing shoppers reacting with disgust.
