TikTok is an interesting phenominon.  It started off as an app where kids would film themselves dancing or lipsyncing to their favorite song.
It's morphed into a place where I watch clips of my favorite comedians, find new bands, and get DIY home improvement tips, albeit for projects I'll never attempt.
It also is a place where people create videos of them attempting certain trends, like stealing from their high school or just making stuff up because they think it's funny.
It's not always funny to everyone though.  There is a video of someone named, Midnight Rav3n, who is pretending to steal an animal from the Niabi Zoo in Coal Valley, Il.

A Message from the Director of Niabi Zoological Park

"Dear Friends of the Niabi Zoo,
It has come to our attention that a TikTok creator from Iowa has posted a film on social media that shows her stealing one of our animals. I want to assure anyone that has seen this, that the film is a fake. Not only was no animal stolen from the zoo, the animal she shows herself leaving with is not an animal that belongs to us.
I don’t know why anyone would think that the staged kidnapping of a zoo animal would be seen as entertainment, but apparently, someone does. We take our animals’ health, welfare, and safety very seriously.
Thank you
Lee Jackson
Director
Niabi Zoological Park"
