Just over an hour's drive from Rockford, before you load up for a day trip to see some live music, or you're camping out for all four days, we've got your essential checklist before going full-throttle.
Check The Weather Forecast Before Hitting the Road
We've had some pretty wild weather during past Country Thunder's in Wisconsin, including the iconic performance with Jason Aldean doing "Try That In a Small Town" right before a severe Thunderstorm hit Twin Lakes.
And then, Jason came back out and played late into the night once the rain passed.
Here's what the latest forecast is for this Thursday-Sunday in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, according to the Weather Channel.
Bring Your Hoodies and Warm Coats This Year
If you're heading up on Wednesday (7/16) to set up your campsite, there's a good chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon, so be alert. Some rain will be nice to keep it from being a dust storm all weekend at Country Thunder.
For opening night Thursday (7/17), you may need to bring layers, because we could have one of the cooler nights for a show in quite a while. The current forecast predicts cloudy conditions and a high temperature in the upper 60s, with temperatures dropping into the 50s on Thursday night.
Friday will also be Mostly Sunny and mild, with temperatures in the mid-70s during the day, and a low around 60.
Saturday and Sunday currently have a 50 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms with highs both days around 80, so make sure to take the Q98.5 App along to Country Thunder for Weather Updates and chances to win Meet and Greet passes.
Don't Worry if Your Clothes and Shoes Get Dirty
This isn't the time to show off your new white shoes, because it's going to be dusty and possibly muddy at Country Thunder.

And you're going to be doing lots of walking, from the parking lots to the stage, and around the hundreds of acres of live music, food, drinks, and entertainment. So, if your boots aren't made for walking...
Bring a Refillable Water Bottle
Staying hydrated is key, even if it's not going to be in the 90s this year, you're allowed to bring one factory-sealed bottle into the concert venue.
Bring a durable refillable bottle so you can load up between shows, with fill-up stations available around the festival grounds to keep the H2O flowing.
Soft Lawn Chair or Blanket Allowed in G.A.
If you're passes are in the general admission area, you can bring in your lawn chair or blanket.
Because it may be a good distance from where you park to the concert bowl, choose a lightweight, compact lawn chair, and when you get into the Country Thunder grounds, stake out a good spot on the grass early before it fills up.
