The Illinois State Fair runs August 7 through 17 in Springfield, and this year, there is more free entertainment than ever before, with the Grand Central Stage having a free concert series, including rock band Everclear on Thursday, August 7, and Stephen Wilson Jr. on August 12.

The original lead singers of Restless Heart, Little Texas, and Lonestar are now touring as 'The Frontmen', and they will have a free concert on Friday, August 15.

Last week, country powerhouse Randy Houser revealed he would perform a free show at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand on Monday, August 11, and now the opening act is a rock band with a library of top hits.
With over 17 million albums sold worldwide, Night Ranger will be the incredible opener, known for timeless anthems like Sister Christian, (You Can Still) Rock in America, and Don't Tell Me You Love Me.
