These Are The 5 Most Useless Towns In Wisconsin
For the record...every town has good in it if you look for it. But if you are looking for the bad, that can be easy to find too.
USA Top List named the five most useless towns in Wisconsin. Useless seems like such a harsh word. The definition states, "not fulfilling or not expected to achieve the intended purpose or desired outcome."
Again, if you look for a certain outcome, you will tend to find it. But even with that, these towns have been named the most useless in Wisconsin.
Number 5 - Kenosha
Right when I pull up Google Maps, I see they have Mars Cheese Castle. So I'm going to say Kenosha is plenty useful!
The USA Top List says that it's filled with closed car factories and empty department stores. Pretty sure you can find empty department stores in every city in America.
Number 4 - Janesville
Janesville was a booming town thanks to General Motors, which opened a factory there in 1919. At its peak, 7,000 employees worked at the assembly plant, but in April of 2009, it was permanently closed.
USA Top Lists claims that "1/5 of the shops downtown have for rent signs on them.".
Number 3 - Beloit
"Even the homeless people think it's too dilapidated." A harsh quote from USA Top Lists...who also said it was on the Mississippi River. So maybe they are talking about a different city. Or some place that doesn't exist at all.
Number 2 - Racine
Again, I personally disagree. It's on the banks of Lake Michigan with beaches and parks and plenty of good things to find.
Number 1 - Superior
I wouldn't call Superior useless. Cold...very, very cold. Yes. But not useless. It's a key city for Lake Michigan shipping, with a lot of natural beauty around the city. But...it's very cold.
If you live in any of these cities, we hope you can find the good in them. If you can't find the good, then try to find a place where the grass is greener. Good luck.
