While the Hawkeyes fell one game short of winning the championship, the team captured the hearts of not just Hawkeyes fans and not even of Iowa fans, but of the country.

There is now a limited edition collectible you can own to celebrate the class of the 2022/2023 Women's College Basketball season.

An Amazing Run For The Iowa Hawkeye Women's Basketball Team

Iowa had a great regular season finishing as the runner-up in the Big Ten with a 15-3 record.  The Hawkeyes then won the Big Ten Conference Tournament title for the second consecutive season.

Iowa earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament and would advance to their first Final Four since 1993.

In the national semifinals, Iowa knocked off defending champion, and previously undefeated South Carolina, before a sellout crowd in Dallas to advance to their first-ever national championship.

Caitlin Clark had sports fans and stars from all walks of life talking about her performance including LeBron James, John Cena, and Magic Johnson. She was the first player in Men's or Women's tournament history to record a 40-point triple-double.  She scored 41 points to set the record for the highest-scoring NCAA Tournament semifinal.

Facing another SEC team in the final, Iowa’s magical run fell short in a controversial loss to third-seeded LSU.

Celebrate The Team With This New Collectible

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled an officially licensed, limited-edition bobblehead to commemorate the Iowa Hawkeyes Women’s Basketball Team’s historic 2022-23 season.

The bobblehead features Iowa’s mascot, Herky the Hawk, holding up a copy of the sports section of a newspaper titled “Iowa News”.

Each bobblehead is individually numbered up to 2,023 and they are only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store.

"The Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team’s remarkable 2022-23 season is well-deserving of a bobblehead to commemorate all of the accomplishments,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “We think this bobblehead will be one that Hawkeyes alumni, students, faculty, staff, and fans will really enjoy.”
