Wisconsin is a different place.  And for those of us who grew up there, live there, or lived there, we love all the things that make it different.

When somebody from, say, New York, moves or visits Wisconsin, they might know some things to expect.  But they are still in for quite the culture shock.  Here are 15 things that they won't be ready for.

So there you go.  Just 15 of probably 100 things about Wisconsin that could shock somebody from New York, California, Florida...really anywhere that isn't Wisconsin.

Even people as close as Illinois don't understand what true Wisconsin is.  So many people who live in Chicago know what Wisconsin is, but never escape the rat race that is the Windy City.  Meanwhile, all the glory of simple Wisconsin is just a short drive north.

Oh, what about Kwik Trip?  We should have added that to the list as well.  It's not just a gas station, it's a way of life.

Thanks to our friends (of course, they are our friends because we all have Wisconsin in our blood) at Midwest vs. Everybody on Facebook.  With the handle @midwestern_ope you just know they speak Wisconsin.

No matter where you are while you read this, you can take some Wisconsin with you.  Say hello to a stranger.  Order a side of ranch with your ranch.  Take things slow today.  Take your kid to a bar.  And have a drink...but still, don't try to outdrink anyone from Wisconsin.

You Could Own The Greatest House In The State Of Wisconsin

There's a home in Wisconsin that everyone in the state would call the best house on the market. The house is reasonably priced for the amount of money you could get out of it. Why does this house sound like a gold mine? Because it sits and looks directly at the heart of Title Town U.S.A., the legendary Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers.
