From neighbors getting fined for things like the color of their curtains to being told what kind of plants they can grow in their own yard, it all just sounds a bit too controlling for my taste. Recently, I came across a list highlighting some of the most outrageous and unreasonable actions taken by HOAs across the country—and honestly, it only made my opinion worse. I already didn’t like the idea of an HOA, but after seeing just how far some of them are willing to go, I think I dislike them even more.
