Adult Easter Egg Hunts Are Actually Awesome

Within this last year, you may have noticed adult Easter egg hunts taking place near and around the Quad Cities. At first, it might sound ridiculous to have an Easter egg hunt only for those over the age of 21, but after being a part of one I have gotta say... It was kinda awesome!

Adult Easter egg hunts offer the nostalgia of childhood, but with the fun of being able to do them with friends as a grownup, and the hidden treasures in the eggs are great too!

You still get candy, but sometimes the eggs have money or alcohol in them which makes it even more fun for the adults! The one I took part in had shooters. In the end, it was fun to run around like crazy people and get to run after eggs again like when we were kids. It was also fun getting to sit down with those friends and go over all the random prizes that were in our eggs.

The idea started after we saw a few adult egg hunts pop up in the QC. Since my mom wanted to see all her older kids and our friends again, she put this whole thing together with over 500 eggs!

Next Easter if you're looking for another way to give the "big Kids" something fun to do, I highly recommend trying an adult Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to do it again next year.
