Are These The Top 10 Best Rides At Adventureland?

Adventureland has had many great rides come and go over the years. Some great new rides and some amazing older rides still give parkgoers a unique experience. Next year we will even see two new rides. Those rides are named the "Flying Viking" and the "Draken Falls" which is a log ride. Personally, I'm excited to see a log ride at the park again.

To celebrate these new rides I thought it would be fun to count down my top 10 favorite rides at the park. As an Iowan, I have spent my whole life going to Adventureland. Since I was a kid I would go there every summer. Many people all over Iowa make the drive to this park.

Does anyone else remember when Garfield the cat was a mascot there? I do, and we have pictures here.

How The List Works

The list rules are simple, which rides that are still up and running today offer the most fun? I also look at some of the rides that have been there from very early on. If a ride can be 40 years old, and still fun, that's truly amazing.

Obviously, you will most likely have a different top 10 list than mine, and that's okay. The best part about theme parks is that we all have our own favorites in mind when making a list.
