Add Blain's Farm & Fleet to the list of retailers requiring you to wear a mask in their stores. The company announced face coverings will be required for anyone medically able to wear one starting July 23.

The announcement was made on their website along with additional measures they're taking.

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to be top of mind for everyone, Blain’s Farm and Fleet understands your concerns. Our stores are taking extra steps during this time and are consistently reviewing our procedures with the guidance of experts.

Additional Measures taken in store:

  • Frequent disinfecting of high traffic areas including checkout lanes and touch screens.
  • Cleaning of shopping carts.
  • Offering sanitizing options throughout our stores.
  • Administering health screenings to all associates before they enter the building each day.
  • Plexiglas barriers at checkout lanes and all service counters.
  • Requiring all associates to wear face coverings or shields and wash hands frequently throughout the day.
  • Requesting all customers wear a face covering or shield if they are medically able to do so.
  • Asked customers to limit the number of people in their party, as well as a 1 person per cart protocol when able.
  • Signs, regular overhead announcements and associate buttons reminding everyone to follow proper social distancing practices.
  • The first hour of each shopping day is dedicated to seniors, expectant mothers and other at-risk customers.
  • Providing gloves for all associates use at their own discretion.
  • NEW Farm & Fleet now accepts contactless payments in-store and at drive-thru, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The stores are also modifying the way they perform services on your car.

Additional Measures taken in auto services centers:

  • Using seat, steering wheel and floor coverings whenever we work in your vehicle.
  • Wearing gloves and face coverings when we work in your vehicle.
  • Frequent cleaning and disinfecting throughout our waiting rooms and service areas.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting of touch points such as clipboards and pens – or feel free to bring your own pen.
  • Chairs in our waiting areas distanced 6 feet apart for proper social distancing.
  • Floors marked 6 feet apart for easy spacing when waiting to speak with a service advisor.
  • Administering health screenings to all associates before they enter the building each day.

Blain's Farm & Fleet stores in the Quad City area can be found in Moline, Davenport, Geneseo, and Muscatine.
