If you’ve been craving a new lunch spot (or just love the kind of deli that makes you question every sandwich you’ve ever had), good news: Gary’s Hometown Deli officially opened its newest location in Cambridge on Nov. 6. And yes… it smells as amazing as you think.

A Big Win for Cambridge Food Lovers

Owned by Tim and Christy Bissonette, Gary’s is bringing all the classics — and then some — to 312 E. Court St. Think piles of fresh meats, cheeses, homemade salads, and sandwiches so packed they should probably come with a seatbelt.

Their daily lunch specials range from hearty clubs and Italian subs to hot dogs, chili dogs, Chicago-style dogs, BBQ pulled pork, meatball sandwiches, chef salads, and more. In other words: if you leave hungry, that’s on you.

Two Locations, Same Delicious Mission

Gary’s has been a hit in Geneseo at 804 S. Oakwood Ave., and now Cambridge gets its own slice of deli heaven — plus a dine-in area. Geneseo is still takeout-only, but honestly, their sandwiches travel like champs.

Hours, Details & A Hint of Sandwich Destiny

Both locations are open:

    • Mon–Thurs: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
    • Fri: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
    • Sat: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
    • Sun: Closed (because even deli magic needs a rest day)

Cambridge: 309-937-5305Geneseo: 309-944-5405

As the owners put it, “We offer a large selection of cut-to-order deli meats and cheeses along with a variety of homemade salads.” Translation: grab a cart — you’re leaving with more than you planned.

If you’re anywhere near the Quad Cities, consider this your sign to take a little road trip and treat yourself. Your stomach will thank you later. Follow Gary’s Hometown Deli on Facebook for updates and drool-worthy food pics.
