Cat Food Recall

If you have purchased cat food recently you need to check this out. The J.M. Smucker Company has issued a recall for the following brands of their cat food. 9Lives, Special Kitty and EverPet. The problem is related to low levels of thiamine (vitamin B1).

Low B1 in cats can cause a number of potential issues including, gastrointestinal or neurological issues. The good news is that cats that suffer from low thiamine typically respond to treatment.
