Three Costco Recalls on Popular Products in Iowa

Recalls are nothing new—they happen fairly often. Fortunately, Costco does a great job of keeping Iowans informed about what's being recalled. So far this year, there have been several recalls you should be aware of!

Recalled Products In Iowa

- Anker Power Banks

This is also another one where we see two power bank brands. Cheapism now states,

Anker Power Bank (10K, 22.5W) model A1257. The manufacturer identified a “potential issue involving lithium-ion battery cells from a single vendor,” and while the likelihood of malfunction is minimal, the company chose to recall the products.

 Anker PowerCore 10000 power bank model A1263. It was sold between June 2016 and December 2022. These batteries may overheat.

- BowFlex Dumbbells

Yikes this one would hurt. Talk about painfull.

BowFlex 552 adjustable dumbbells sold at Costco have been recalled because the weight plates can dislodge from the handle during use, posing an impact hazard if it falls on your foot or another part of your body.

- Michelin and Bridgestone Tires

This year, two tires were recalled. According to Cheapism,

Two tires sold at Costco Tire Centers have been recalled because they fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 139, which has to do with tire endurance.

Those brands are as follows: Michelin brand Agilis CrossClimate C-Metric tires in size 185/60R15C along with  Bridgestone brand Blizzak 6 tires in size 235/40R19
