Craig’s List: 4 Things to Know – 3/8

Hold on to your hat, literally, today as we are under a Wind Advisory.

1 - The weather continues to make news this week. Today's issue are continued high winds which limited barge traffic on the Mississippi yesterday. A Wind Advisory is in effect with gusts as high as 40-50mph expected. Power interruptions and travel delays can be expected. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen has the details.

2 - Many areas of the Quad Cities region continue to clean-up from Monday night's storms. Our news partners at WQAD have extensive coverage of the EF-2 tornado now reported to have blown through Muscatine. Their news drone N.E.D. has surveyed the damage from the air as well. Clean-up also continues in northwest Davenport. 

3 - The Moline boys basketball team season ended last night as they lost to Danville in the Illinois Class 4A Sectionals. Details when we do That Sports Thing around 7:35am on the Morning KIIK Start.

4 - Lucasfilm dropped the first trailer for the film Star Wars: The Last Jedi yesterday... or did it? We'll talk more about that, plus more entertainment news when we do That Hollywood Thing at about 8:35 this morning on FM 104.9
