Craig’s List: 4 Things to Know – 4/14
It's a Good Friday if you don't have to work today.
1 - The morning will start sunny, but clouds will dominate by afternoon and we may even see showers and mild thunderstorms by late afternoon. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen has the details here.
2 - The Quad City Times reports that Moline Police have made an arrest in the purse snatching we told you about yesterday. A Crime Stoppers tip lead to the arrest of 51 year-old Julie Marie Calderon of Port Byron. She is charged with one count of robbery and two counts of aggravated battery after allegedly following a woman to her vehicle at Genesis Medical Center on Wednesday and grabbing her purse after a struggle.
3 - Tickets to see former Doobie Brother Michael McDonald in concert at the iWireless Center on June 20th go on sale at 10am today. You can win tickets before you can buy 'em - I've got two pairs of tickets to give away this morning during the 7 and 8 o'clock hours on FM 104-9.
4 - Your Quad City Mallards begin their first-round ECHL playoff series tonight in Fort Wayne. Oh, and this goalie scored a goal himself last night. Details and scores from the River Bandits, Cubs, Blackhawks and Bulls when we do That Sports Thing at around 7:35am on The Morning KIIK Start.
Don't just have a good Friday - have a great Friday.
