What happened to Spring?!

1 - Colder temps are on-deck for today and the weekend. Snow flurries are in the forecast for Saturday, and shovel-able (it's a word now) snow is possible for Sunday night into Monday. WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorensen has the forecast details here.

2 - After eight years of what many fans consider agony, the Chicago Bears have finally cut ties with QB Jay Cutler. According to ESPN, Cutler asked for and received his release from the Bears yesterday so he can become a free-agent. Details on That Sports Thing around 7:35am on The Morning KIIK Start.

3 - Jeff & Joni will be joining six KIIK listeners tonight at It's A Mystery's comedy whodunit performance at Skellington Manor in Rock Island. If you didn't win, you can still see the show. Tickets are still available at SkellingtonManor.com. More entertainment news when we do That Hollywood Thing at about 8:35am on FM 104.9.

4 - Even though is Iowa is considering scrapping Daylight Saving Time, it hasn't passed any legislation yet, so DST will still begin this weekend. Don't forget to set your clocks ahead before you go to bed Saturday night, or just wait and do it on Sunday morning like I do. Of course, I have no plans to be anywhere on Sunday. Your user experience may differ.

Have a great weekend!

- Craig
