Davenport Has an Abe Lincoln Statue!

Davenport's not exactly in the "Land of Lincoln", but it's close enough right?

The city just unveiled a new Abraham Lincoln statue in Bechtel Park at the base of the Government Bridge.

The statue, titled "Lincoln With a Boy on a Bridge", is exactly that.

Davenport Mayor Frank Klipsch said the 15-foot statue is a showcase of the Quad Cities' rich history.
