Drink, Shop, Explore Downtown Muscatine at Sip & Shop Event

Take a drink, take a stroll, and bring your wallet for Downtown Muscatine's Sip & Shop event happening in May.

The event will be on May 6 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. There will be wine samples with tasting notes and extended evening hours at some downtown shops.

If you register, you will get a one-ounce sample of wine at the participating businesses while you shop.

Check-in for the event will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry. You'll get some Sip & Shop swag, a 21+ wristband, and a map that details shops with wine pairings.

Several businesses that are participating will be offering things like discounts, specials, live music, and more. If you still need a gift for Mom for Mother's Day, there are different kinds of stores are taking part in the Sip & Shop, from lifestyle and interior stores to soaps to boutiques. Several restaurants will be part of it too, including a bakery.

• Red&Lee Vintage (10% off all purchases and snacks to accompany the wine)

• Maxwell’s on the River (open until 10:00 p.m. and will be offering a complimentary order of our Fried Brussels appetizer with the purchase of a bottle of wine)
