Drive-In Theaters Ready For 2023 Season In The Quad Cities

It's that time of the year again. Drive-ins all over the area are already starting to open up, and it's time to show our support. I fell in love with drive-ins three years ago in 2020 when they were one of the few things still open.

The vibe was fun, and the people were great. The memories I made were also Amazing.

The Theaters

61 Drive-In Theater: Located at 1228 US-61, Delmar, IA 52037. Their 2023 season starts on April 7th! During the pandemic, they were open and were one of my favorite spots to visit. This year they have all the family-friendly activities their guests love. These include train rides, swing sets, volleyball, and many other things along with great movies.

Blue Grass Drive-In: Located at 774 W Mayne St, Blue Grass, IA 52726. Reopening this month! Blue Grass Drive-In is beginning its 9th full year and is excited to see you again. They open later this year, and have some great movies on the way! They've also added a few things over the years.

In 2019 we added our third projector, and in 2021 we added our fourth! Join us for unrivaled entertainment located right here in Blue Grass, Iowa.

The Midway Drive-In: Located at 91 Palmyra Road Sterling, Illinois 61021. Referred to as "Illinois coolest drive-in", The Midway Drive-In opened in 1950 in Sterling, Illinois, and has been in operation ever since. You can start seeing movies here later this years

The Midway Drive-In is considered a genuine historical landmark by many. They have countless events as well that you can see here.

Some rumors are also out that someday we could see more spots pop up, or even reopen. We will keep you posted on local drive-ins here in the QCA.
