Electro Freeze Moves to Davenport to Expand Production
Electro Freeze, a prominent manufacturer of frozen treat equipment, has announced plans to move its headquarters from East Moline, Illinois, to a larger facility in Davenport, Iowa. This strategic relocation aims to accommodate the company's rapid growth and increasing global demand.
Doubling Manufacturing Capacity
The company will move into a new site at 8440 N. Zenith Ave. This transition will significantly increase both office and manufacturing space, effectively doubling the firm's production capabilities. The expanded footprint will also allow for enhanced technical services, engineering labs, and customer support departments.
A Strategic Step Forward
While the company has been a fixture in East Moline since 1945, the new location—just 17 miles away—ensures that current employees can remain with the business during this expansion.
“Relocating to Davenport allows us to operate within a single manufacturing facility while expanding our operational footprint,” says Victoria Campbell, president of Electro Freeze. “This opportunity positions us to better serve our customers, develop new products, and continue our expansion into the global market. This is a strategic investment for the future growth of Electro Freeze.”
Commitment to Quality
Electro Freeze, a division of H.C. Duke & Son, has been an industry pioneer since creating its first soft-serve machine in 1929. The company assured partners that the move will cause minimal disruption. All existing contact information will remain the same as they continue to supply soft-serve, shake, and slush machines to global markets.
