Grammy Winner Carly Pearce Coming To Eastern Iowa
One of country music's biggest and best voices will be making a stop in eastern Iowa later this summer. And if you see her smiling...well that's because she is on a roll! She is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, she recently won a Grammy Award, and she has a new live album coming out soon. Yes, it's good to be Carly Pearce!
Carly burst onto the country scene in 2017 with her debut single 'Every Little Thing', which hit #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Her next single 'Hide the Wine' reached #13 on the charts. Then came the chart-topping due with Lee Brice, 'I Hope You're Happy Now'. Despite her career soaring, Pearce suffered some personal setbacks including the end of her high-profile marriage to singer Michael Ray and the death of her producer Busbee. Her next album, 29, would deal with the setbacks she dealt with during her 29th year. In 2021 she would release 29: Written in Stone. It featured new songs including her tribute to Loretta Lynn 'Dear Miss Loretta' and her current single 'What He Didn't Do'.
The album also includes her duet with Ashley McBryde 'Never Wanted to Be That Girl' which won Pearce her first Grammy Award.
Carly Pearce will be at the Delaware County Fair in Manchester on Friday night, July 14. Opening the show will be legendary Texas singer-songwriter, Aaron Watson!
