Just the other week we saw Netflix increase their prices. Many people were frustrated to see this since many of us are still stuck at home. The cost went up from 12.99 and 14.99 respectively, to 13.99 and 17.99.

It looks as though Hulu will also be increasing their prices next month.

Hulu with Live TV will now cost $65. According to the The Hollywood Reporter,

Hulu with Live TV currently costs $54.99 a month, marking a $10 monthly increase for current customers.

Experts suspect this price increase is to stay on par with their competitor YouTubeTv which is another virtual live TV bundle service. This new increase will affect both new and current users starting December 18th.

The Verge reports  that the last increase for costumers was when they went from paying $44.99 to $54.99 on December 18th, 2019.

It seems as though every year gives us an increase in prices when it comes to streaming services. Which is fair, but many memes are starting to come out about how  piracy is going to make a come back. Piracy is,

the unauthorized reproduction or use of a copyrighted book, recording, television program, patented invention, trademarked product, etc.: The record industry is beset with piracy. Also called stream capture.

Since over the years more streaming services have popped up more people are trying to find ways to cheat the system since they see it as no different than cable. What they are doing is illegal, but it seems as though some a risking it to get all those great shows.
