Iowa is the State With Most Amazon Sellers Per Capita

Iowa loves Amazon. In this instance, I'm not talking about purchases citizens from the state make on the online website, but instead those selling products.

According to Business Wire, Amazon has released the states that have the greatest number of businesses, small and medium, per capita. Iowa tops that list with almost 10,000 sellers.

Iowa is also the fast-growing state for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) selling on Amazon.

The number of Iowa businesses selling on Amazon is even more impressive when you consider only 26 states have more than 5,000 businesses selling on the site. Iowa is 31st in the nation in population, according to World Population Review.

Keri Cusick, the head of small business empowerment for Amazon, told Business Wire:
