Iowa vs Illinois at TugFest This Weekend

This is one of the coolest ideas I have ever heard about - two teams of two dozen people tugging on either end of a rope strung across the Mississippi River.

Tug Fest takes place between LeClaire, Iowa and Port Byron, Illinois for the 32nd time this weekend.

The event kicks off Thursday with a carnival. The tug begins Saturday at noon pitting Iowa teams against Illinois teams.
