Textile Brewing Company Might Be Dyersville’s Real MVP
Even though the Field of Dreams is what most people associate with Dyersville, I swear this town has another strong claim to fame that deserves just as much attention: BEER. And really good beer at that!

After an afternoon of hiking White Pine Hollow, we rolled back toward Cascade by way of Dyersville ready for something cold, filling, and easy. That's how my wife and I decided on a trip to Textile Brewing Company. Trust me, it was, and always will be, the right call. This place hits you with a good energy right away. The smell of great brews and good dough hit you immediately upon entry. Better yet, it feels like a spot where you can sit and enjoy without ever feeling rushed out the door.
We grabbed two flights of five beers each, and one of their massive pretzels. That, my friends, is combo that just can't miss. My wife and I made sure to each select different beers so we could "try them all." Let's just say we definitely didn't get close to trying all their drinks.
The beer selection is wide, with plenty of styles to work through, plus seltzers and ciders if that is more your lane. You can bounce around flavors and your tastebuds WON'T get bored, ever. Plus, the service was great and the food came fast!
The standout food item we selected was the Bacon Pretzel. It comes baked with butter, Brown Sugar Bourbon seasoning, Swiss cheese, bacon, and 100 percent pure local maple syrup. They serve it with their Snuggy beer cheese on the side. It may not sound like a lot, but it's huge when I consider the other pretzels I've had.
Not to mention, it works perfectly with the brews. It was sooooo good. I would order it again without even thinking about it. They also offer up flatbreads, pretzel bites, and beer cheese nachos if you want a few other options.
The seating setup is solid. You can see TVs from pretty much anywhere, which makes it easy to catch a game while you hang out. There is plenty of indoor space, even when if it gets busy. They also have outdoor seating and a Biergarten area, perfect for when weather officially heats up.
That's the plan too. Soccer season in Dyersville is coming up fast, and the games don't take all day. That leaves just enough time to swing back in, grab another flight, and try more pretzels, this time with the kids.
The whole place feels like a mix of history and hangout. They talk about their restored sewing factory roots, and you can feel that character in the building. It's part brewery, part community spot, and part excuse to stay longer than you meant to.
