New Golf Simulator with Over 1,500 Courses Opens in Dyersville

Dyersville is now home to a brand new, state-of-the-art golf simulator.

Fittingly named Dyersville Clubhouse, the new business on 12th Avenue SE serves as another attraction for the bustling community of Dyersville, who continues to see incredible national attention thanks to the popularity of the Field of Dreams. The simulator at the new clubhouse is billed as "highly advanced" in the realm of graphics and tracking technology, and boasts over 1,500 courses players can play.

The new location is the product of Andy Deutmeyer, who spoke to the Dyersville Commercial about its grand opening on April 1st. In addition to golf, the simulators available offer other games, like baseball, football, hockey, and hunting:

I’ve played several systems and this is as good or better than anything I’ve ever seen. It uses satellite images, Lidar and takes that information and they pair up with IBM Watson AI division and it will generate any local course you want - Andy Deutmeyer, per The Dyersville Commercial

The Clubhouse came together in just a couple of months, following Deutmeyer's purchase of the building on February 1st. The R&D process took place from mid-December to opening date (April 1st), so, for all involved, it was a swift process.

Feedback is everything when it comes to a business model that's interactive, so Deutmeyer told the Dyersville Commercial that he has made it a point to receive feedback about the simulators and the customer experience.

Furthermore, the Clubhouse operates on a bring-your-own-beverage (BYOB) model, and behooving this is how close the location is to places like Fareway and Happy Joe's.
