Oh, you thought you were going to participate in dry January to kick off the new year. Sorry, you have plans that contradict that now.

Get ready for this 2nd annual event that is full of booze, live music, and plenty of eats to sober you up enough to drink some more. It's coming up this weekend and I'm a little upset I didn't plan ahead because I really want to go.

The 2nd annual Brew, Bourbon, and Wine Bash at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds is coming up this weekend. Last year, we had bacon, but this year, we're trying to eat a little healthier. Tickets, including VIP tickets, are still on sale, but let me tell you about all the things that are happening during the bash this weekend.

2nd Annual Brew, Bourbon & Wine Bash

Get ready for the 2nd annual Brew, Bourbon, and Wine Bash at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. This event is going to be held in the Iowa Building this Saturday, January, 11th, 2025.

Sample from some of the best local breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Over 40 craft beer, bourbon, and wine samples will be on hand for you and everyone else to try. But the only way to get in is by getting your tickets ASAP.

Speaking of those tickets, there are different levels of tickets you can buy. Those include:

  • VIP passes ($50): Exclusive VIP Happy Hour (12 pm-1 pm) + Commemorative Pint Glass and includes all sampling.
  • General Admission ($40): Access from 1 pm to 4:30 pm. Includes all sampling.

For those who aren't drinking but want to make sure their friends and family get home safely, there is a Designated Driver Pass. Admission for this includes music and a bottle of water. Concessions will be available for you to get some food.

Live music will be provided by one of Cedar Rapids' most popular party bands, the Trophy Dads.

This event is strictly for individuals over 21 years old. Get your tickets now at mvfair.com.
