Those who watched Saturday Night Live over the weekend saw someone that looked awfully familiar. No, I'm not talking about host Ryan Gosling, musical guest Chris Stapleton, or the surprise cameo by Kate McKinnon in the cold open.

If you watched through the end, or at least through the Weekend Update with Michael Che and Colin Jost, you saw our girl, Caitlin Clark.

That's right. Caitlin joined Che and Jost in the final 5 minutes of Weekend Update to give Che a little taste of his own medicine. Caitlin also gave praise and honored a handful of women who have paved the way for players like her heading into the WNBA.

Live From New York... It's Caitlin Clark

It was super cool to see Iowa's Caitlin Clark during the Weekend Update with Micahel Che and Colin Jost.

Saturday Night Live was hosted this weekend by Ryan Gosling and I have to say, it was one of the best episodes I've seen in a long time. The sketches were hilarious and there was a lot of character-breaking going on.

Before Caitlin joined Che and Jost, Michael made a joke about how Iowa was retiring her No. 22 jersey... for an apron. The audience you could tell was a little put off by the joke but everything was made better when Michael introduced the women's college basketball star to the desk.

Caitlin has plenty of comebacks for Michael with the help of Colin. They made a quick montage of the jokes Che has made about women's basketball right in front of the women who have given the sport a lot of attention recently.

Before gifting Che a signed apron, Caitlin thanked these former WNBA players, Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Cynthia Cooper, Dawn Staley, and her personal hero, Mya Moore. Caitlin said, "These are the women who kicked down the door so I could walk inside."

Caitlin wasn't alone on her SNL adventures.

Kate Martin, Gabbie Marshall, and Jada Gyamfi were also with Caitlin in NYC. The four girls were seen on stage with the SNL cast, Ryan, Chris, and Kate giving everyone hugs as the show signed off for the night.

Caitlin is expected to be the #1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft and go to the Indiana Fever. The WNBA Draft is being held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. The draft starts at 6:30 p.m. CT and you can watch it on ESPN.
