It's all about ladies' leadership in Davenport this month.

On March 22nd, local author & senior HR leader Julie Hipkins will be rolling out her new book "Our Next Chapter: Women Leading with Purpose and Power". It focuses on leadership as courage-not title. It's message is based in work ethic, humility, resilience, and community.

The book launch will be at Barnes & Noble in Davenport (at NorthPark Mall) on March 22nd from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. It's free and open to the public. (Of course, men are welcome too!)

There will be a meet-and-greet, book signing, pictures, and signed copies that you can buy. It's to be a "collective conversation about leadership and purpose".

The book is both inspiration and practical guidance to professionals and community leaders. It's local to you too, with advice from Midwest-rooted leadership. It reframes leadership as daily action and integrity instead of position or status. The book challenges readers to define their values, lead authentically, and align careers and personal lives with intention.

Don't forget, Mother's Day is in a few weeks and this would be a great opportunity for you to get her a good local gift. Or stop by after brunch with the girls for an additional cheers. Or if you, like my friend group, made it a New Year's resolution to read more books this year, here's one for your list.
