If we got a dollar for every time someone yelled the sentence "why don't you do the Illinois side?!", we wouldn't have to place commercials. Since we have uncovered the top 10 best places to get pizza in Davenport and the top 6 places to get pizza in Bettendorf, it's time we head across the Mississippi River to the City of Moline

We opened up the massive can of worms on National Pizza Day by tackling the age-old question, "who has the best pizza in each of the Quad Cities?". To the Land of Lincoln we go to tell you the top 7 pizza places in Moline whether you like it or not.

In this series of articles, we will look at the top pizza places in each of the cities in the Quad Cities. We started with the two Quad Cities on the Iowa side, Davenport and Bettendorf. We now move on to the city that John Deere calls home, Moline.

Making this list for Moline is the same as the others.

We're not sure how many times we can say this, but we aren't trying every pizza place in Moline to get this list. As much as we would love to do that for all the Quad Cities, we are broke and can't do that. Instead, we looked at the one spot where Moline locals let their voices be heard and give scores of their favorite and least favorite pizza places: Yelp.

We are sticking to local pizza places.

We looked at Yelp to determine the top 7 pizza places in Moline. We did the top 10 in Davenport and the top 6 in Bettendorf. Simply put, Moline doesn't have as many local pizza places as Davenport does. At least it's more than Bettendorf.

Speaking of local, the only piece of criteria we had when it came to ranking these places was:

  • It has to be a locally-owned pizza establishment.

That means Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Marco's, and those other chains were out of the running.

We did leave Happy Joe's in here because it was founded in the Quad Cities. If you continue to disagree with this move, get over it because Happy Joe's has already shown up twice on the other lists.

You're not taking Quad-City style into consideration, right?

We also know what you're thinking/wondering:

There are so many different types of pizza like Quad-City style pizza! That HAS to make a difference!

Nope. This ranking is solely based on each pizza place's rating on Yelp. The style, the taste, the atmosphere, etc., are all a part of these reviews. Yes, some people like the other menu items than just pizza, but pizza is on the menu at each of these establishments and many reviews mention the pizza.

We love Quad-City style pizza and are proud to call it a staple, but that has no factor in this list unless you left a review saying it did.

Here are the top 7 pizza places in Moline according to you and other residents of Bettendorf.
