Georgia Man High On Mushrooms Arrested During Rampage In A Chicken Suit
A Georgia man, high on mushrooms, was arrested for disorderly conduct after wearing a chicken suit and creating havoc on the streets, as reported by the Putnam County Sheriff.
The Hallucinating Chicken Man
The incident occurred on November 19 when Jason Pinch, 47, was found in a state of high hallucination, beating passing cars while yelling at them in a residential area near Lake Oconee.
According to Sheriff Howard Sills, the first call to the police was from Pinch's ex-girlfriend who said her ex had gone nuts on mushrooms. When the deputies responded to the distress call, they found Pinch walking around, dressed in a yellow onesie, designed to look like a chicken, and punching vehicles.
Questioning Reality
Pinch reportedly did not relent upon seeing the patrol car but instead proceeded to pound it too. Consequently, the officers decided to call an ambulance, planning to detain him. But Pinch repeatedly questioned the deputies about their and his own reality.
He kept asking if we were real and if he himself was real, Sills revealed. According to the Sheriff, Pinch, after his apprehension, persisted in his line of questioning, further asking if he was at that moment relaxing in his hammock at his home.
Arresting The Chicken Man
Ultimately, officers had to use a Taser to immobilize Pinch. He was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and misdemeanor obstruction of a peace officer. He has since been released on bond.
The baffling choice of attire continues to intrigue the sheriff, with Sills musing, Why the chicken suit, unfortunately, that would have been the question I asked.
