3 Men Sentenced For Trafficking 25 Pounds Of Meth To Quad Cities
Three men from the Iowa side of the Quad Cities will be spending at least 15 years behind bars after getting busted on methamphetamine and weapons charges.
According to a release from Davenport Police, the men brought 25 pounds of meth to the Quad Cities with the intent to sell it in the area.
Back in March, one of the guys, known as "Chili" - 27-year-old Jacob Sheley - was sentenced to 25 years in prison on charges of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
The officers who worked the bust found methamphetamine, cocaine and a firearm. They also located over $6,000 of drug money in his home back in February of 2025.
Sheley got convicted in Clinton back in 2020 for a charge of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
35-year-old Jacob Timmsen was sentenced to 23 1/2 years in prison in June. His charges were conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, brandishing a firearm during and in relation to drug trafficking, and possession with intent to distribute a mixture containing fentanyl.
On Tuesday of this week, 27-year-old Cody "Nugget" Sheese got sentenced to a 20-year stint in prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and carrying a firearm during and in relation of a drug trafficking crime.
Officials said Nugget was on supervised release when these methamphetamine busts took place. Because of that, he has a 2 1/2 years in prison after his 20-year sentence.
