And then some. Frankly, plenty of "then some." So much so, if you were to purchase this home it would run you $23.5M. No big deal, right?

According to Zillow, this home, located in Chicago, is the most popular residence for sale in Illinois in 2023.

With good reason too. With six beds and 11 baths, this 25,000-square-foot home is like a dream.

Not only is it gorgeous but the folks who listed the property are confident it's incredible.

R. Matt Leutheuser of Jameson Sotheby's International Realty calls the place "spectacular in presentation and scale" and "the most prestigious home on the Chicago real estate market today."

The only real question is, what's wrong with the place? Judging from the looks, nothing. It might just be that it's too expensive.

That's because this home has been on the market since 2016 originally listed at a massive $50M.

Since then, the place has been pulled off the market numerous times and when eventually placed back on the market again, relisted for less and less.

In February of 2020, it was posted for $45M and then pulled in 2021. Then in January of 2023, about 15 months later it was reposted, listed at $29.9M, a $15M discount.

Since then the house has dropped from $29.9M to $27.9M to now $23.5M. Wild considering this might be the best house in the entire state for sale.

For most of us, buying a $23.5M house is out of the question but how cheap does it need to go before someone, anyone buys this place?
