Look at Every Awesome Show That Came To The Pig Pen and QC Live
The Quad Cities live music scene is strong right now. People want to see live music, and there are plenty of great venues to catch shows. The Rust Belt, Capitol Theatre, Rascals Live, the new Redstone Room, The University Club, Racoon Motel, Skylark, The Vibrant Arena at The Mark, and numerous local bars that host local music regularly.
But as great as the live music scene is right now, you'll always hear from people who will tell you about "back in the day". The Col Ballroom. Palmer Auditorium. And of course, The Pig Pen and QC Live.
Founder of The Pig Pen and QC Live, Robbie Bahr, recently put together a complete history of the shows that took place at those venues.

409 unique show dates from 1995 to 2005. 218 of those were at the Pig Pen. 26 were at Pig Pen Outdoors. 163 shows were at QC Live. And then a couple of Pigstock / Banana Joe's events that are still talked about to this day.
As you can see below, the shows are listed in chronological order, but also by band. Some artists only performed once. Like Ace Frehley on September 10, 1995. While other bands played that stretch numerous times...topping out with Six Feet Under playing 6 times over the course of those 10 years.
Take a look back at all the shows that you remember like they were yesterday, the ones you might have missed, or the ones that you were at...but memories are a bit fuzzy.
