Another week means another great pet spotlight! We here at US 104.9 have teamed up with UScellular and the Humane Society of Scott County to bring you the pet of the week! We spotlight a different pet looking for a forever home every week. Today we are meeting a loving cat who has been looking for a family for a while now.

Another awesome thing about this event is that UScellular is donating $50 each week to the Humane Society for our pet of the week. It's always great to see!

The Pet Of The Week

Meet our 104.9 pet of the week, Gaia!

This sweet girl is roughly 4-5 years old and only about 9 lbs. She is the absolute sweetest girl who could get head scratches all day long if she found someone generous enough! She even has the cutest little chirps when she wants more attention. If you get her to chirp at you, you know you've made it to her inside circle!

Gaia has been adopted but was very stressed in the home she was adopted into and didn't settle in, so she was brought back to us. It was a busy home with several other pets, and she was just not meant for that kind of activity. Gaia would prefer a quieter home where she can sunbathe in peace and get all the head scratches to herself. If you’re looking for a cat to warm your windowsill and your heat, look no further than Gaia!

Stop by and ask to meet Gaia during our open adoption hours:MWF 12 pm-6 pm

Sat & Sun 12 pm-5 pm

Closed on Tues & Thurs
