Police Investigate Deaths in DeWitt

According to our news partners at WQAD News 8, a criminal investigation is underway by Clinton County Sheriff's Department after two bodies were found in a DeWitt home during a welfare check.

Police were called Tuesday morning around 9:45am after family members became concerned that the resident's had not answered repeated phone calls.

Sheriff's department officials would not comment on whether they were treating the incident as a homicide, nor release the names of the deceased.
