Portillo’s In Davenport Is A Go

The saga of whether Quad Citians will be able to enjoy a Portillo's hot dog on our home turf was finally resolved last night.

Davenport Council unanimously approved the rezoning for the proposed Portillo's location on 53rd Street in Davenport.

A further study will be undertaken to determine whether a cul de sac will installed on Lorton Avenue to alleviate traffic concerns by neighbors in the area.

No word on when construction will begin or when the location will open.
