Quad Cities To Do Bucket List

Some friends are planning a visit this summer and will be spending a few days with me here in the Quad Cities. Since they have never been here before they asked me, "what is there to do there?"  I have lived here only a little over a year I am hardly an expert myself and have only seen a fraction of what the area has to offer.

So i decided to create a Quad Cities Bucket List of things to do. Some of these I have already experienced, some I have not. There are plenty of good things to explore both for me and for my guests when they are here.

This is what I came up with:

Take in a game at Modern Woodman Park.

Eat a Happy Joe’s Pizza

Take a walk along the riverfront (pick a side)

Eat Whitey’s Ice Cream

Go to the Buffalo Bill Cody Homestead

Visit John Deere Pavilion

Visit the Putnam Museum

Stroll through Vander Veer Park

Eat a Maid Rite sandwich

Check out one of the great area farmers markets

Visit the American Pickers store in LeClaire

Check out one or all of the three area casinos

Visit the Rock Island Arsenal Museum

Visit Chocolate Manor dedicated all things chocolate

See a show at the Adler Theatre
