The Rock Island Argus is reporting that a player recently released from the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs was arrested and released on bail in Aledo this week.

The Argus reports that running back Darrin Reaves spent Sunday night in the Mercer County Jail after Aledo Police arrested him earlier that day.

Reaves allegedly prevented a woman from leaving her residence, and later obstructed her vehicle when she attempted to drive away.

According to the Argus, Reaves has been charged "with two counts of the Class 4 felony of unlawful restraint, and one count of a class A misdemeanor criminal trespass to residence for allegedly remaining in an Aledo residence without permission."

Two emergency orders of protection were issued against Reaves who was released from the Chiefs on May 7 due to injury issues.
