Rock Island Shooting Suspect Captured in Ohio

The search is over for a 17-year old male wanted in connection with the death a 15-year old Wednesday in Rock Island.

Police say Kire G. Carr was arrested Friday morning in Columbus, Ohio "without incident".

Carr faces first-degree murder charges after Jescie J. Armstrong was shot and killed Wednesday.

According to authorities, Armstrong was shot in his home on the 500 block of 20th Avenue just before 2 p.m.

He was pronounced dead a short time later at Trinity in Rock Island.
