The Mississippi Valley Fair is finally here all week long and now's your chance to take a bite of all the fair food you've been craving.

39 fair food vendors are preparing well over 125 (I tried counting, but I'm sure there's more) different food items to try when you head out to the Mississippi Valley Fair, 2815 Locust St, Davenport, Aug. 3-8.

You can expect to find all your favorite fair food fare (see what I did there?) like corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy and pork chops on a stick. I'll post a list of all the fair vendors later in the story, but there are a few food items that caught my attention.

If you love weird fried things on a stick be sure to check out Fried What? They'll have fried Twinkies, Oreos, Snickers, Key Lime Pie, cheesecake, mushrooms, pickles, green tomatoes and ravioli all fried up on a stick for you.

Need more protein? It's IOWA so you'll also find plenty of pork and meat. Pork on a stick, (In my best Forrest Gump, Bubba voice) pork chop sandwiches, ribs, burgers, sloppy Joes, Gyros, bacon, ribeyes, brats, turkey legs, brisket, corn dogs and chicken.

Another vendor that caught my eye was Waffle Bombs. I'm not sure what a waffle bomb is, but they'll be serving strawberries, fried olives, cheese curds and steak sandwiches dipped in waffle batter and fried.

I think it's pretty safe to say you won't go hungry while you're at the fair. Heck, I even know some people that just go FOR the FOOD. As promised, here's a complete list of this year's fair food vendors and what they'll be serving. Personally? I'd go for a sloppy Joe made by the church ladies any day!

Here's where you'll find the complete list of Mississippi Valley Fair food.
