The Farmer Blower- [A TRUE STORY]

I have had a weird occurrence with a complete stranger and can't get it out of my head.

Kevin and I talked about this during the morning show. It's kinda gross and is known as the 'Farmer Blow'. You know what I'm talking about. Blowing air hard through your nostrils, one or both at the same time, without the use of a kleenex. I am not the one who did it. It was a complete stranger.

Last week, I was in the parking lot at work and a man was walking down the alley nearby.  As he passed, he looked at me and blew his nose in the style I know as "farmer blow." I thought to myself, "That was gross and why would he look at me while doing it!" Granted, I understand it was cold, but to look at someone and do it? Ewwww.

This morning, as I was making my way out of the cold and into the station, I hear crunching footsteps that were not mine. A man walking down the icy alleyway at dawn, all bundled passed by. As he got a little further down, still close enough for me to hear, I heard it. THE FARMER BLOW! I couldn't believe it. I knew who he was because of our encounter the other day! Thankfully, this time he wasn't looking directly at me!

It still kinda creeped me out. I'll be honest, my ice-walking turned into ice-scooting/skating and I quickly prayed and made my way into the building. Just sayin'. I didn't want it to get near me.
