By giving its workers a much-needed break to spend time with loved ones, Walmart set an example for other retailers to follow. This trend has continued in recent years, with more and more companies opting to close down for the holidays to express appreciation towards their workforce.

This is for barley even 24 hours. Yes, Walmart will close every store in Wisconsin, the shutdown is temporary. On Thanksgiving Day, you’ll find the doors locked, but by the time Black Friday hits, they’ll be back in business as usual.
