The Quad Cities Could See Some Snow Tonight
The sun was shining bright earlier this morning when I noticed a snow plow truck drive by. Yes, I said, 'snow.' The truck was no doubt spraying that de-icing stuff on the streets because, wait for it.....the Quad Cities could see some snow tonight.
According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, a storm system will spread snow into eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois Monday night into Tuesday morning. We could see 1-3 inches of snow along and north of I-80. The wet stuff could turn into snow by morning.
Just a reminder, slick, snow covered roads could develop late Monday night and impact our Tuesday morning commute.
Here's something we all love to hear; forecasters say there's still some uncertainty in the actual amount of snow we might get.
