We've already looked at The Quad Cities' favorite Comedies and Documentaries. Now we move onto horror. As someone who loves horror movies with a passion I'm excited to take a look at the QC's Favorites.

As always I got stats from IMDb, Mental Floss, and News Press Now.

4. Child Play 2 (1990)

Child's Play 2 has mixed review, but many here in the QC love it. This doll gave me nightmares, but now I've grown to love the franchise.

While Andy's mother is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, the young boy is placed in foster care, and Chucky, determined to claim Andy's soul, is not far behind.

3. Children Of The Corn (1984)

Based off the Stephen King book. Another movie with mixed reviews, but the QC and the Midwest feels a connection to it. I too love this movie.

A young couple is trapped in a remote town where a dangerous religious cult of children believes that everyone over age 18 must be killed.

2. The Evil Dead 2 (1987)

It's a Cult Classic, and apparently the QC loves second movie installments.  The first Evil dead is my personal favorite horror movie of all time, and this one is great too!

The lone survivor of an onslaught of flesh-possessing spirits holes up in a cabin with a group of strangers while the demons continue their attack.

Honorable Mentions

1. The Exorcist (1973)

It's a classic, and safe to say most people love or at least respect this movie. Some can even argue it pushed horror to a more main stream audience. What ever you think of it, it comes in at number 1.

When a 12 year-old girl is possessed by a mysterious entity, her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her.
