If you lived in the Quad Cities or even further North, you may be familiar with cabin fever during the long winter months. If not, the concept of cabin fever is like this... You’re stuck inside your house all day and it’s cold and dreary outside (i.e. no sun) and it makes you feel sad and lonely... Even depressed! And once you start feeling down, it’s hard to get out of that bad mood.
Now, I could tell you how to beat cabin fever by getting more sleep, going outside even if you don't want to, or to "celebrate the beauty of Winter"...but I won't.
Instead, let's celebrate the end of Winter and say goodbye to Cabin Fever with some friends and drinks!
Moline Centre is back with the 17th annual 2022 Cabin Fever Pub Crawl on Saturday, April 20th! According to the FB Event page:
Teams of 4 compete in the Quad Cities only putt-putt pub crawl through downtown Moline. $40 per team. Prizes for 1st place and Best Hole.
Once again this year the Moline Centre has created a situation where ALL of the event's proceeds will go to the participating bars and restaurants. The past two years have been incredibly difficult for them, so lets make this year's Cabin Fever Pub Crawl a "pub crawl for a cause"!!!
Drink specials are available and each player receives an awesome gift compliments of Stern Beverage, Inc.
You can sign up now at these locations:

How Would You Rate Your First Beer Back in the Day?

We asked the Quad Cities what their first beer was. Then we got on BeerAdvocate.com to see check out some reviews. Here are the best and some of the worst ones I found...

Quad Cities Live Music Venues That Aren't Live Music Venues Anymore

Nostalgia Alert!.

We've compiled a quick list (by no means comprehensive) of venues in the Quad Cities that are no longer music venues but to us will ALWAYS hold a special place were we saw some great shows and made some incredible memories.

To many of us the live music scene wasn't just a concert here & there. It was an every weekend affair. And it didn't matter if it was a touring band or your buddy's band. We were going to be there with a beer in hand and scream along with guitars that were way too loud in a room that was improperly treated acoustically and make some bad decisions.
